The Black Affairs Advisory Council (BAAC) has several committees to
choose from:

  •               health awareness
  •               community outreach
  •               communication,
  •               events, and
  •               employee development

If you wish to volunteer your time working with any of the committees listed
above,  please send the chair/co-chairperson an email indicating your
interest.

Events Committee:

Melissa Pringle (Chair),
Jasmine Porter (Co-Chair),
Harold Glasgo (Co-Chair)

This committee is responsible for
planning and organizing events
pertaining to BAAC. When planning an
event, this committee works closely
with other committees to ensure
things go as planned.
Communications Committee

Lauren Porter (Chair),
Dededrick Rivers (Co-Chair)

This committee is responsible for
communicating any  messages
pertaining to BAAC. They are also
responsible for maintaining our email
database, verifying members’          
information, and handling any Public
Relations duties for the chapter.
Employee Development Committee

Michelle Blagmond (Chair),
Christopher Howard (Co-Chair)

This committee is responsible for
identifying areas that can be targeted
to enlighten employees and make
them more competitive for the
advancement of their careers. They
will examine all aspects for potential
employee development.
Health Awareness Committee:

Spencer Woods (Chair),


This committee is responsible for
our monthly health awareness
initiative that is currently operated in
these buildings. This committee will
keep the membership aware of any
new developments relative to Health
Awareness.
Social/Community Outreach Committee:

This committee is responsible for
identifying opportunities in the Greater
Baltimore Metropolitan Area where BAAC
can lead it’s services or contribute its
resources. This committee has the official
responsibility of continuously identifying
worthwhile organizations where BAAC
members can participate.
